The right engine oil for your pressure washer depends on operating conditions. All-purpose SAE30 motor oil is best for pressure washers operating in conditions of 40 degrees Fahrenheit and higher. It is the best oil for summer.

10W-30 oil is recommended for 0 – 40 degrees Fahrenheit. It is best for winter.

Your pressure washer may consume more oil at 80 degrees and higher.

You can also use synthetic 5W-30 oil for better performance and handling a wider temperature range. It is rated for minus 20 – 120 degrees Fahrenheit and recommended for all seasons. This oil also gives improved starting and lower oil consumption.

Don’t forget to check the manufacturer’s recommendations in the user manual.
